Estoppel & formal invalidity revisited

Paul Newman KC has written a casenote on the recent decision of the High Court in Lendlease Construction (Europe) Ltd v Aecom Ltd, where the judge allowed estoppel to be used to circumvent the formally invalid execution by a company of a commercial contract for the purposes of a statutory limitation defence.
