High Court approves compromise in Avon Cosmetics case

The High Court has today approved a compromise of the remainder of the Avon Cosmetics litigation not dealt with in the recent judgment. This related to a possible challenge to the correctness of the Courage line of cases which held that the final salary link is protected by limitations on amendment powers which apply to secured or accrued benefits.
